ATLAS SHRUGGED’s John Galt Line Rolls Into Montreal

Atlas Shrugged Movie opens exclusive theatre engagement in Montreal, QC

(Santa Monica), December 2, 2012 - Atlas Productions announced today that the politically charged film adaptation of Ayn Rand’s Atlas Shrugged will be opening in Montreal Quebec in exclusive engagement.

Based on Ayn Rand’s 1957 novel, ATLAS SHRUGGED: PART 1 is set in the near future when a dystopian United States finds its leading innovators, from industrialists to artists, mysteriously disappearing at an alarming rate resulting in the "stopping the motor of the world."

Harmon Kaslow, Producer of the film stated “We’re very excited to be playing in Quebec. We’ve got a lot of really great supporters in Montreal and we couldn’t be happier to finally deliver Atlas.”

Atlas Shrugged Part 1 opens in Montreal this Friday evening at the AMC Forum 22 Theatre located at 2313 St. Catherine St. West Suite 101, Montréal, QC, Canada. For theatre and ticket information, please visit:

Rand’s 1,100 page bestselling book is being produced by Atlas Productions as a trilogy which follows the three part structure of the novel. Part 1 was released theatrically in USA on April 15, 2011. Part 2 is expected to follow in 2012. The Part 1 DVD and Blu-ray are available for purchase at:

DVDs, Blu-Rays and John Galt's Canadian Theatre Invasion

Only one week left to pre-order your Atlas Shrugged Special Edition DVD to ensure November 8th delivery.

Good News, Bad News...

Unfortunately, the Atlas Shrugged Special Edition Blu-Ray, which combines ALL of the exclusive content from ALL of the Special Edition DVDs (and then some), will not be available for pre-order until mid-November with a release date pending for late November.

HOWEVER, you can pre-order the standard edition 20th Century Fox version of the Blu-Ray on Amazon right now for release day delivery on Nov. 8th. It won't be nearly as content rich as the Special Edition but, if you simply can't wait for the movie, problem solved.

Atlas Shrugged begins its Canadian theatre invasion October 28th. Our first stop, the AMC at Yonge and Dundas in Toronto.

Showtimes have not yet been announced. We'll make sure to post links for advanced ticket purchasing as soon as they become available.

Canada, we want to hear from you. Stop by Demand ATLAS, tell us exactly where you are and then... make way. That includes you Toronto - tell us where you are exactly.

Here we come.
